1. Low-dimensional nanostructures and hybrids for selective chemisorption and sensing for future IoTs: Graphene (Oxide); MOFs, COFs and CTFs...;
2. Surface functionalization and characterisation for targeted photo- / electro-/chemical- catalysis for renewable energy conversion and storage;
3. High energy density Al/Zn-Air batteries for drones and electric vehicles;
4. Hydrogen purification for fuel-cell vehicles.

#HKPF awardees will not be concurrently awarded UPF and PGS

The application deadline: Mid December for official deadline of 1 December 2018.
PhD students can enrol on the first day of any calendar month. As for the awardees of Hong Kong PhD Fellowships, students are expected to start their studies on 1 Sept.2019.
