The moon sank;
the crows cawed ;
we sent a short letter to invite thee.
Opened our door;
welcomed our guests ;

we scented your heart with the fragrance of tea.

The night of 20th November saw the success of the English salon themed as “World traveler: tea culture and tea manner” in Building 7 of Yuhu, launched by the Omnimedia International Center.
Have you ever realized, that a seemingly ordinary tea leaf is not only a treasure of rich medicinal value but also the epitome of the world cultural exchanges and collisions? Those tiny, little leaves of tea, stemmed from the great land of the Orient, across the sea, through waves of hardships, at length rooted in diverse parts of the globe to blossom into various worldwide distinctive tea culture.
Following the interesting ice breaking game, the host introduced the classification, nutritional value as well as nutritional composition of tea, leading everyone in heading for various corners of the world in spite of the numerous hills and streams to experience the distinctive tea culture born in different environments.

During the discussion session, everyone participated in the communication passionately and shared their stories about tea one after another. The durative love for tea along with the excitement of realizing the beauty of tea for the first time infected everyone present. The atmosphere of the activity reached a climax step by step.

After the exciting Pictionary and the entertaining tea art presentation, finally came the moment everyone was waiting for ——making a cup of tea for yourself.
Provided with all kinds of tea, and abundant ingredients of tea, all the participants began to brainstorm, and was trying to make a cup of unique tea carefully, using the knowledge they had learnt in the former parts.

At that very moment, the evocative fragrance of tea reached every corner of the room, accompanied by laughing and chatting, bringing warmth to the cool autumn evening.
Making tea, tasting tea, and thinking about tea, we drank a cup of warm tea. What beat on the tip of the tongue was the love for tea and the pursuit of life. More importantly, different cultures converged and collided in this small room, and were expressed in English. Riding the autumn wind at night, everyone was led into a wonderland that is carefree and far away from reality.

At this point, World Traveler: tea culture and tea manners English Salon was successfully concluded. CKC Omnimedia International studio would hold more interesting activities in the future, and we look forward to the active participation of our friends who love English and life!
