Peng Bo, Director of Key Laboratory of Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST), was invited to talk with CKC students on March 24, 2021. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Lu Xin, Vice Dean of Chu Kochen Honors College, Zhejiang University.
Prof. Peng is the director of FAST key laboratory and he is the science director of SKA. His main research orientations are radio survey, transient objects, giant radio star system and so on.Prof. Peng shared with the audience his life and research experiences about how he started his research into radio telescope. He emphasized the importance of the basic knowledge and encouraged students to devoted themselves into the cause of science.
