An online lecture on career planning was carried out by Interdisciplinary Learning Seminar of CKC on the evening of September 22, 2020.
In the first section, Prof. Zhang Fan, vice president of CKC, put forward a question—Is career planning a choice among work, postgraduate recommendation or going abroad? Then Prof. Zhang explained the definition and category of occupation and provided two practical methods: Career Character Interview and Recording a Typical Day of Career Role Model to help students have pluralistic understanding of occupation.
In the next section, Prof. Zhang stressed that interdisciplinary is the direction of future development, which is closely related to our personal positioning and career planning.

A method called Life-career Rainbow was introduced by Prof. Zhang in last section. （She said career consists of professional roles and life roles.） With the assistance of Life-career Rainbow, Prof. Zhang shared the systematic career planning method, and emphasized that career planning is a spiral, endless and developing process, which is instrumental in making career choices.
The lecture ended in a relaxing atmosphere. Under Prof. Zhang’s guidance, we believe that our students will be able to integrate well in future major selection and career planning, truly achieve  Aim for the highest, pursue the best.
