This class aims to cultivate future compound leading medical talents with diverse subject background, discipline spirit, innovation ability and international competitiveness. It applies the training concept of advanced international medical training programs and implements the “4+4: Eight years in total, two periods in training” mode, which means that after finishing the first four years of non-medical undergraduate training, if meet the requirements of the faculty, students will move on to another four years of doctoral training. With the interdisciplinary ideology of “Medicine + X”, the class motivates students’ diverse innovative thinking, providing a wider academic vision and cultivating clinical scientists with much potential. Outstanding students of the class will be funded to further their study in PhD programs overseas. Graduates of the class will be awarded Doctor's Degree of Medicine and can later enter postdoctoral training programs in Clinical Medicine.
