The class mainly cultivates the students who aspire to serve national major strategic needs and are excellent in comprehensive quality or outstanding at foundational disciplines. Driven by the preponderant disciplines, the class implements the seamless training of undergraduate and postgraduate, which focuses on the Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biological Science, Ecology, Preclinical Medicine, Engineering Mechanics, History, Philosophy, Chinese Language and Literature (Ancient Chinese Characters) etc. The students are divided into different classes respectively according to their majors.
