On October 15, 2021, the event named “Entering the Major: Computer Session” of “Dean is Here” Open Day in Chu Ko Chen College was held in East 1A103 of Zijingang Campus, which aimed at enhancing students' understanding of computer majors and giving guidance professional choices at the same time
Combining online and offline form, the event was mainly divided into two parts. In the first part of the activity, Chen Wei, the deputy dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology, explained the overview of computer science, and the construction of computer major in our school. The second part focused on students’questions, according to which, Mr. Chen advised students to attach importance to liberal education, combination of majors and making use of available resources.
After this The Dean is Here activity, a comprehensive understanding of computer science and technology would have been built. Hopefully, students can better plan their future with lofty ambitions and pursue excellence.
