On the afternoon of April 17th 2015, twenty-two students of different majors gathered at Xixi campus of Zhejiang University to have a tour in the Department of Cultural Heritage and Museology. Professor Chang Hui warmly welcomed every one and provided the students with this wonderful tour. First, Professor Chang gave a brief introduction of recent scientific results printed in the posters hanging in the wall, including research on modern cement condition and on petrifaction of ancient building material, ways of connection between ancient buildings, composition analysis of paint on Terracotta Warriors. During the interesting explaining, students were amazed from time to time and the stereotype that Cultural Heritage and Museology Department was boring and was covered in dust collapsed at the vivid description from Professor Chang, and the new impression was all about being modern and advanced, combining with chemical analysis, physical analysis and biological analysis. Applying technology from various fields makes this department full of vigor and more charming, attracting everyone that pays a look into it.
