On April 16, Professor Duan Zhiwen from Dept. Ideological & Political Teaching and Researching, was invited by CKC to give a lecture to the Party members. It’s a part of the Advanced Studying and Training Program. All the Party members and some active applicants for Party membership, as well as students who were interested, attended the lecture.

    Professor Duan deeply analyzed ten heated social problems, ranging from the mode of economic development, income distribution, health care reform, education reform, to employment problems, census registration reform, retirement security and anti-corruption. He noted that university students should not only focus on professional knowledge from textbooks but also useful experience from the "book" of society.

    Duan also hoped that students should keep pioneering ahead without sticking to old paths, and contribute to developing a creative country.
