To celebrate the 60 th anniversary of founding of PRC, Ms. Lian Yanle, tutor of Grade 09 of CKC Honors college, together with freshmen Party members and some outstanding league members, watched the military parade on the National Day.

    They all extended their best wishes to our country. At 9:00 a.m, many students gathered in the Home of Party Members at Ziyun Dormitory, celebrating the birthday of our motherland. Accompanied by the firing of 60 saluting guns, the Squad of National Flag convoyed the Five-Starred Red Flag solemnly from The Monument to the People´s Heroes to the flagpole. Students in front of the TV held their breath in an atmosphere of sincerity and majesty. When phalanxes of PLA marched by the reviewing stand, when the heavy tanks travelled past the Tiananmen Square, and when the fighter planes roared across the sky, all the students got thrilled, expressing their strong patriotic feelings with acclamation and praise. Finishing watching the military parade, the students held a heated discussion.

    They got deeper understanding of the spirits that the military parade conveyed, which contains the spirits of carrying forward the cause and forging ahead into the future, overcoming all difficulties with determination. Besides, the students felt more clearly the heavy responsibility they had to take.

    Ms. Lian emphasized the word responsibility and the word hope when making summaries. She eagerly hope that CKC students can take the responsibility of our time, live up to full potential, and finally make great contribution to developing the country.
