On Nov. 7 th , 2009, the Final of Class Characteristic Show organized by the League Committee was held in Room 225 of the International Conference Center. The event lasted two months during which each class carefully rehearsed and prepared their programs.

    Twelve stood out in the preliminary contest. Each showed their class emblem, class motto, class anthem and characteristic talents at the final stage. Class English+X 0803 had excellent understanding of past and present subjects from liberal arts to natural science. Their performance was recognized for its creativity. Class Liberal Arts 0902 sang an anthem about making friends from all across China.

    The lyrics were based on the classical tradition and portrayed the present by recounting history. Class S&T 0901 gave audience a confident and passionate dance show. The other classes performed in various and distinguishing ways, and their performances were appreciated with applause, cheering and even standing ovations. In the end, the first prizes went to Class S&T 0901 and 0902. The four second prize winners were Class S&T 0904, Class L.A. 0902, Class Eng+X 0803 and Class Eng+X 0903. The third prize was won by Class S&T 0906, 0903, 0804, 0803, 0905 and Class Eng+X 0902. Class S&T 0907 designed the best class emblem; Class Eng+X 0904 won Best Class Anthem; the motto of Class L.A. 0901 was the most outstanding one. Class Eng+X 0902 won Best Activity Organization. Class S&T 0907 won the prize of Greatest Talent. Class S&T 0905 was voted the most popular class. Just after the competition, Ms. Zhong Rongrong, representing the CKC College, made a short speech.

    She expressed the hope that students would cherish the purity and the brilliance of school years at the university, and also value the friendships of classmates and the solidarity of the class. All these aspects of student life are precious and memorable treasures that will last a lifetime.
