May 9th, in the Small Theater of ZiJingang Campus, a grand pageant was held to celebrate anniversary of CKC various types of minor classes. CKC’s Executive Vice Dean , professor Chen Jin, responsible professors for each innovative classes, Zhuang HuaJie, the Director of high Education and the professors of Hangzhou-districted university attended the celebration.

    On the pageant to memorize the Engineering Education Advanced Class establishing for 15 years that day, the host reviewed the origin of the class and its development. Academician Gong Xianyi gave a speech on "engineering with math, physics chemistry and biology". All the students felt that engineering had made irreplaceable contributions to the development of human history. The responsible professor of engineering education advanced class, Wang Peimin gave a lecture entitled "inheriting from history and making a better future". After the meeting, teachers wrote epigraph to express their wishes and blesses.

    In the communication meeting to memorize Public Management Class establishing for 5 years, Professor Chen Jin spoke highly of the students’ great performances and the comprehensive level. He expressed his thanks to the teachers of the class and expected the class to make higher achievements .Some other professors also proposed suggestions with several famous professors.

    They emphasized the importance of the combination of arts and science as well. "In order to become the predominant person with ability," they also suggested, "don’t forget the duty and responsibility of science while seeking for knowledge."
