On the 27th of April, 2014,Zhao Jian’s lecture, one part of the 6th Leadership Training Cadres was held in West 1-107. Mr.Zhao Yang from ZJU Wangxin Co. together with Dean Qiu Limin, Tang Xiaowu, Secretary Zhong Rongrong and counselor Lv Chengzhen attended this lecture.
Alumni Zhao Jian graduated from the 1st mixed class. In 1991, he founded ZJU Kuaiwei Co. after obtaining a master degree of business administration and became the 1st batch of Chinese IT pioneers. After 10 years’ development, ZJU Wangxin Group has become a internationally known high-tech service group owning three listed companies and led in IT, energy efficiency & environment protection and innovation service in China.
After Dean Tang’s brief introduction about Mr. Zhao, Zhao started the whole lecture. He believed that insistence, sense of mission and determination were premises of leadership skills. Many of us finally became an ordinary people with a fine job and family after CKC’s eminent education nonetheless the only way to become a successful leader is to overcome our laziness and complacency.
In real leading work, all leaders need to do is to integrate member’s power and gain trust from everybody. Therefore, only one who sacrifices all his own to the group will win people’ trust. Meanwhile, he needs to be glamorous enough to set a proper goal for the whole group to strive for.
At last , Dean Qiu Limin awarded Zhao with a certificate. After several questions from students, Qiu summarized this lecture and announced the ending.
Leadership is a rocket science. Incomputable perspirations lead to a remarkable performance. CKCers should be confident enough to become the leaders in various fields and devote ourselves to the development.
