Volunteer teaching activity is a brand activity of Youth League Committee of CKC. In September, 2010, Youth League Committee of CKC College organized a series volunteer teaching activities which based on the old activity foundation in Hangzhou Tiancheng Primary School, Lantian Primary School and Xuejun Primary School at Zijingang. Volunteer teaching activities were extremely colorful this time. Wherever the volunteers went, there was full of fun.

    In Lantian Primary School, volunteers narrated various interesting phenomena in easily understood way for the students. They also popularized some simple life common sense and played some little games like "Eagle-grabs-chicks", "throwing handkerchief" and "robbing stool". In Xuejun Primary School at Zijingang, volunteers narrated disaster-reduction knowledge and popularized some simple life common sense for the fourth grade students. They also explained the significance of patriotism through little moving stories, making the lecture vivid and unconventional. Every child had learned a lot from this time’s volunteer teaching. In the end, volunteers went to Tiancheng Primary School and taught children how to make greeting cards for the coming New Year’s Day.

    Meanwhile, they put cartoon "The Lion King" for the children and exchanged feelings with them, leading children to think problems with different views. Volunteers said that volunteer teaching activity led them into society and primary schools. They had also experienced teaching work’s difficulty and gained experience and joy from it.

    So far, the activities of volunteer teaching month came to a successful conclusion. This series volunteer teaching activities developed through lively activities and benefited both teachers and students. The response was very good from society and volunteers established a positive image for CKC College in society.
