On Oct.15th, grade 02 friend of CKC, the present president of Guangqi Research Institute Dr. Liu Ruopeng returned to his alma mater, addressed his younger juniors named "Better technology, better life". During his intercommunication with students, Mr.Liu said, Science is not far away, and we can find much pleasure in it. We’re supposed to combine art with design whiling working on science.

    Meanwhile, we need to have dreams for human beings’ future and turn it into reality. Together with the lecture, Liu provide us internship chance and fund to promote academic society. After the lecture, the College held a salon for some interested students to have further and closer communication with the seniors.

    Liu Ruopeng, an outstanding college fellow of CKC Honors College, Grade 2002, acquired his doctoral degree in Duke University, USA. He successfully led his team in developing an "Invisible Cloak" by twisting the microwave, which is publicized in Science Magazine, USA. He is now chairing the Kuang- chi Institute of Advanced Technology in Shenzhen.
