On the evening of September 8th, the University’s Executive Deputy Secretary Chen Zichen had a cordial talk and gave instructive suggestions to the leaders of CKC Honors College and branch members of the Fourth Party Branch in Grade 2008. Li Yuxiang, the Secretary of the Fourth Party Branch in Grade08 at CKC Honors College, delivered a brief introduction according to three aspects: the general situation of the Branch, the preliminary work of the Striving for Excellence Activity and the activity’s present situation. Subsequently, Zhong Rongrong, the Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch at CKC College, introduced the Striving for Excellence Activity, which is themed with " Be the pioneers of seeking the truth and striving for excellence".

    After hearing the report, Chen praised the initiative of the students and gave his wish that the Branch members would persevere in contributing full efforts to study and work. He expressed his hope for the Fourth Party Branch in Grade08 at CKC College by comparing it to the locomotive that drove the whole train.

    The Director of the Student Service Department Jin Haiyan, Deputy Director of the Organization Department of Party Committee Xu Xuan, Deputy Director of the General Office Qian Zhigan, and other ideological instructors also participated in the discussion.
