Welcome New Students of 2010 to CKC

    First arrival On May 5, the day for 2010 pre-freshmen to register, Counselor Wu Weidong, class advisers and senior mentor group staff were present to welcome. In order to help newcomers blend into campus life sooner, guidebooks were thoughtfully prepared. Besides, CKC also designed various orientation activities, which were warmly welcomed and anticipated by pre-freshmen and their parents. Around 2 p.m., Executive Deputy Dean Chen Jin, Deputy Dean Tang Xiaowu, Deputy Secretary of CPC General Branch Zhong Rongrong and Secretary of League Committee Zhang Hui, accompanied by the Counselor Wu Weidong and class advisers, came to dormitory to visit new students, asked if they had settled down, and had close conversations with their parents.

    First Dream On the morning of May 6, the opening ceremony was held at Waterside Auditorium. Deputy Dean Tang Xiaowu made a wonderful speech, emotionally recalled his days at MIX class, and shared his insights on life. He also gave a detailed introduction of the curricular system and course selection, and encouraged students to have ambitious aims and work hard.

    After Deputy Secretary Zhong Rongrong had introduced the framework of student work, Executive Deputy Dean Chen Jin made the closing speech, in which he inspired new students to blend into campus life, to reinforce the study and research of fundamental subjects, to strive for their dreams and to make efforts to lead Zhejiang University to the top of the world. First Sight On the afternoon of May 7, the pre-freshmen got familiar with Zijingang Campus under the guidance of the "Seeking Truth" ulture publicity team.

    They visited the ZJU History Museum and the exhibition of undergraduate's innovation achievement. With centuries of exploitation and four years of glorious march, it is believed that the 2010 pre-freshmen will turn enlightenment into goals and motivation. Wish them achieve brilliant performance in the future and glorify the history of the university!
