April 23 is World Book Day. In order to form a good atmosphere of reading, CKC established the Book Club. The Club is rooted inside student dorms, making it easier for them to borrow books and participate in activities. The first reading salon was held afterwards, with the topic "Chinese history in the eyes of foreign scholars".

    Senior student Chen Peng provided a deeper sight into works of foreign scholars on Chinese history combined with his own major study, widening the view of students in a different respective.
