On December 26th, 2009，the CKC Students´ Union held a grand party at the Zijingang Theatre to see the New Year in and to celebrate the closing of MIX festival as well as in memory of the founding of MIX class for 25 years. Standing Vice President Chen Jin presented a speech at the party. First, he sincerely wished all the leaders, faculty and students a happy new year; then he recalled the glorious history of the 25-year-old MIX class and expressed his expectations for all the students present.

    The party began with the Grande Polonaise Brillante by Ling Yun Chorus. A series of wonderful performance took the stage later. The prize of "My Favorite Programs" went to the witty skits "No Longer Lonely" by class 0904, "Schooldays" by class 0901, the dance "Nobody" by class 0902, and the song "Rice-exchanging March" by class 0907, all from science and engineering platform,as well as the dance mix by class 0901 from English+X platform. The party also included an awarding ceremony for the winners in the election of "My Favorite Teachers" and a lucky draw among audiences.

    The three-month-long MIX Festival covered plentiful events from the Buffet Reception to "Melody & Memory" concert and Girls´ Day. It had enriched students´ extracurricular life and enhanced mutual understanding between them. Student cadres also got improvement on their social work ability when organizing the Festival.
