The "Innovation Science and Technology Camp" of the "Ten-thousand Talents Program"

ZJU CKC and the school of engineering of the HKU jointly launched the "Innovation Science and Technology Camp" of the "Ten-thousand Talents Program". 20 CKC students visited HKU with their counselor on July 9th 2019.



During the trip students visited the Monetary authority, the City Exhibition Hall, the Science Museum, History Museum, the Science Park, the Gao Kun International Conference Hall of HKthe Jockey Club Climate Change Museum in HKU, IMSE VR Cave, greater China power low-carbon energy education center and Hong Kong Chinese University's campus, which gave them an brief introduction about framework, risk precontrol and district planning of the local bank and bring them a brand-new view about Hongkong’s development plan and infrastructure constructing projects etc. Also, a variety of lectures were held and they learned a lot of Microeconomics and the current economy in HK and e-commerce, Intelligent Grid, living environment and characteristics of the university.


They also got to know VR imaging simulation, 360 degrees of perspective projection, talent project, visual data transfer processing, achievements transformation way, climate change and how to use low carbon energy to cope with it.

On the eighth day, CKC students in different groups presented their learning outcomes with the theme of "future urban development".


Despite the improvement of academic knowledge, what impresses them most are the splendid night scene and the unique ambience labelled to Hongkong. And the smooth process of this activity establishes a strong bond between CKC and HKU.
